FRAC's Monday evening drop in practice sessions for November and December 2011, and, January and February 2012 will start on November 7, 2011 at 6pm until 9pm.
First walk through starts at 6pm with first dog running at 6:30pm. There will a second walk through after all dogs from first walk through finish their first run (there is no definite time for the second walk through - it depends on the number of dogs running).

The courses will be mostly standard courses (with contacts). The courses will have two running sequences marked, one for advanced/expert and one for intermediate/novice. Each dog will have 90 seconds of running time starting when the handler leaves the dog at the start line the first time. You don't need to run the marked courses - practice the parts of the course as much as you want to up to the end of your time. Most of all - HAVE FUN!
Dogs not running MUST be on leash or in a crate. DO NOT block main aisle in front of the bleachers. This also applies to dogs in any class at the back of the building.

This is the NE corner of Hover (95th)and Nelson in Longmont. Best access is on Nelson east of Hover at the street next to the Longmont Humane Society.
Volunteers are needed to set up, operate and pack up each Monday.
Two coordinators are needed for each Monday night. The coordinators are responsible for finding three additional people (helpers) required for set up, operation and pack up. The 1st half coordinator (set up) handles the 1st half of the evening including set up and the first half of the evening's runs. The 2nd half coordinator (pack up) handles the second half of the evening's runs and packing up. Note that if one coordinator wants to do the entire evening that is OK too - but we are trying to eliminate the need for the volunteers to be there the entire evening (basically 4pm to 10pm).

Helpers will receive two free runs on the night they help or must ask for a voucher that can be used at a future time.
Anyone helping to set up or pack up or running a dog MUST SIGN A CURRENT FRAC LIABILITY WAIVER FORM!
The equipment trailer will be moved to the fairgrounds at noon time. Set up helpers must be there by 4pm in order to receive their free runs. Only the first three helpers will receive free runs.
Set up consists of the following:
As soon as set up is done, the 1st half (set up) coordinator and the set up helpers may take turns running their dogs until 6pm. Walk through for first runs is from 6pm until 6:30pm. First runs begin at 6:30pm.
The 1st half (set up) coordinator turns over operation of the drop in to the 2nd half (pack up) coordinator at 7:30pm (or at some arranged time). The pack up cooridnator runs the drop in until everone has had two runs. Hopefully this will be by 9pm. Then the 2nd half (pack up) coordinator and up to three helpers pack up the equipment so that the trailer can be out of the arena building by 9:45pm.
